My other line of work

Ok so as many of you know by day I work in construction. This is a post and beam pool/golf house shaped and inspired by a barn.  I was lucky enough to be a part of this project from beginning to end.  After completion, I was asked to photograph it.  This is the first real architectural photography I have done. I am pretty happy with the end result.  Being part of the build team made it that much more special. Check out more cool projects that we have done at http://www.bolalekconstruction.com

Lillian and Alice

A few weeks back in the middle of what seemed to be the never ending winter, my friend Krista, blogger, fashion lover, and all around fun person, came over to play dress up.  We talked about doing a joint blog for a while using my photos and her styling.  Not really having a goal in mind when we started, we decided to wing it and have fun.  With make-up help from Joanna, we came up with some great, wacky, and fun ideas. Thanks again Krista! Check her out and follow her at           http://lillianandalice.com

Hey stranger i'm proud of you!

I was at work on Marathon Monday.  The day our beautiful city was changed forever. I went into the city early last Sunday morning for sunrise.  While there, I wanted to pay my respects and stopped by the memorials on Boylston St.  It was very overwhelming to see the outpouring of love and support for our great and beautiful city. My pictures don't do it justice.  I love this city, and I am proud to be a Bostonian.  Stay strong BOSTON.

Viva with a side of desert

Everyone has an opinion on Vegas.  Either you love it or hate.  Me, I love it.  The sights, the sounds, the atmosphere, but mainly I love to use it more as a jumping off point.  What I mean is getting in a car and heading out into the desert.  There is much to see and do once you get out of there.  The Hoover Dam,  Red Rocks Canyon, The Grand Canyon, and Death Valley just to name a few.  These are some of my favorite shots and I am looking forward to my next adventure out there.
